About Me

I was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. I attended McMaster University where I completed my undergraduate degree in Medical Radiation Sciences. Since then I have been working as an ultrasound technologist at Brampton Civic Hospital. Working apart of the health system has enriched my patient care skills and has lead me to wanting greater opportunities and to broaden my experience within the healthcare community. This is my first course with Athabasca University, as I am working towards my Masters in Health Studies. I have a continuous passion to learn and I am excited to expand knowledge about the healthcare system and apply it to my everyday career life as an ultrasound technologist.

More about me

Outside of passion for my career, I love to travel. Traveling is something important to me as I believe it helps to create experiences outside your comfort zone, whether it’s through different culture, food, and people. It immerses you into different cultures around the world allowing you to develop cultural understanding and sensitivity. I have traveled to many different places and want to continue to keep travelling for as long as I can.
